The Affordable Warmth Scheme is part of the government’s ECO scheme and provides grants to replace inefficient or faulty mains gas and LPG boilers and is designed to reduce fuel poverty by providing grant funding to homes that cannot afford to replace them and reduce carbon emission generated by properties.

A modern “A” rated boiler could reduce household bills by up to £350 per annum.

The amount of grant available will depend upon the type of property you live in, the number of bedrooms and various other factors.

Grant funding will only cover the cost of replacing the boiler and a limited amount of pipework it does not cover full heating systems, radiators, pumps or control systems.

The grant may not cover the full cost of the replacement boiler and a contribution my be needed.
